If you look closely at the picture you can see that it is light purple but they didn't put that in the description. This was a gift for my husband who wanted a black Bible. There is another thinline Bible that is black but again you can only tell by looking very carefully. Other than that the Bible is lovely and I've ended up keeping it for myself and getting the black one for my husband. The print is a bit small but other than that it is a good buy and a nicely bound book. Though giving the color in the description would have been nice!Product details

This bible is a good size to carry to church, not as bulky as a study bible and includes a helpful concordance.
the nkj compact bible is beautiful and very light weight i love this version i only read kjv and nkj bibles i would be this again if anything happens to mine or as a present for some one to take to church
